We are excited to announce that we have hired a full-time youth minister! Monica Kolinska is a graduate from Oregon State University, who experienced a deep call to converstion in college and decided to start serving God. She was a missionary, coordinating retreats and doing mentoring with youth, and then moved back to Portland. Since then she has studied Theology at the Augustine Institute and is almost done with her Masters. 

"I am really excited to learn about what is going locally in the Catholic Church and see how best FBYC can fulfill its mission while meeting the needs of the community. I really want to focus on bringing to life the vision of Father Bernerd, and helping make FBYC a YOUTH center, where the youth can come and spend time with the Lord, and feel at home in the Church. Please pray for me, as I work with local leaders to determine how to best make this a reality." - Monica
