Pat’s formal educational background includes a juris doctorate degree from Willamette University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
Pat and his family moved to Oregon for law school and moved permanently from Alaska on his passage of the Oregon Bar in 1995. Pat has practiced law as a partner in a firm and now as the owner of his own practice. Pat and his family live in Silverton and are members of St. Paul parish there.
Pat and his wife Lynne have eight children (age 30 to age 10) so his children have participated in the life and activities of FBYC for many years. Upon accepting appointment to the Board of Directors, Pat said: “My family and children have taken away so much spiritual fruit from FBYC over the years, Lynne and I feel it's time to give something very tangible back to this very important retreat and missionary center.”
